Are you a war veteran interested in participating in psychological research?
The Emotion and Anxiety Research Lab at Vanderbilt University is looking for military personnel who have been experienced combat trauma during their time at war.
Purpose: To examine the effects of cognitive processes on experiences, thoughts, and
emotions.
Duration: 1 in-laboratory session (3 hours) and 1 week of remote data collection (2–5-
minute surveys sent in the morning, afternoon, and evening).
Tasks: Interview, Questionnaires, Computerized Tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
ï‚· Age 18-60 years
ï‚· War veteran exposed to combat trauma
ï‚· Proof of military service
ï‚· Fluent in English
ï‚· Do not have any of the following conditions:
o Traumatic brain injury
o Bipolar disorder
o Attention-related disorders (e.g., ADHD)
o Substance use disorder
o Pervasive developmental disorder
o Psychotic disorder
o History of central nervous system (CNS) disease
Compensation: Up to $100 Amazon gift card.
