| Position Description |
We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our Atlanta team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in low voltage technology integration and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various low voltage systems, including but not limited to alarm, access control, A/V equipment, telecommunications networks, managed/unmanaged networking equipment and CCTV systems.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure low voltage systems according to specifications and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with low voltage systems, including wiring, connections, and equipment malfunctions.
Perform maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Provide training and technical support to clients on the use and maintenance of low voltage systems.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Act with integrity and honesty while representing SAV Systems.
Requirements:
High school diploma.
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including wiring, IP addressing etc.
Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and techniques used in low voltage installations and repairs.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to travel long distances to jobsites and occasionally stay overnight at the location of the installation.
