Private Drivers for School Transportation
K and T Transport, Inc. serves Atlanta communities by providing safe, reliable transportation for students that need an alternate way to get to and from school.
*** Immediate openings for part-time, 1099 contract drivers to transport students to and from western and southern Atlanta KIPP schools and nearby locations using their personal vehicles. ***
Pay: Pay is based on the mileage of each completed run. Drivers may have 1-3 run(s) in the morning and 1-3 run(s) in the afternoon. Long trips, paid at a flat rate, may also be available. The school district determines the number of routes and requirements for each student.
• Base pay of $22 for each completed run
• Plus, $1.50 for each run-mile over 16 miles
• Plus, 20 cents per run-mile for gas & wear/tear
• Plus, on-the-job vehicle insurance
Requirements:
• Available to work every school day between 6:15 AM - 9:00 AM (taking students to school) AND 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM (taking students home)
• Safe driving record (no speeding tickets, moving violations, or at-fault accidents in the past 2 years)
• Clean background check with fingerprinting
• Able to consistently pass drug tests (includes testing for marijuana)
• Clean, reliable, 4-door vehicle, 2010 or newer, that carries at least 5 people and is registered in GA
• GA driver's license that has been valid for at least 3 years. CDL is not required.
• Speak fluent, easy-to-understand English
• American citizen or permanent green card holder
