| Position Description |
Intern - Electrical Maintenance: The successful candidate will work closely with Electrical Maintenance Supervisors and will be assigned a variety of projects including, but not limited to, developing improved predictive and preventative maintenance procedures for high voltage equipment across the Minntac facility.
Job Responsibilities:
• Predictive and preventative maintenance procedures for high voltage equipment across the Minntac facility.
• This project will include creating a preventative maintenance schedule that encompasses all main switchyards within the facility.
• In addition, this position will be responsible to carry out and conduct activities in compliance with the U. S. Steel Safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the assigned facility.
Requirements:
• Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
• Candidates must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2021 and be in good academic standing.
• Must have at least a 2.75 GPA, will accept 2.5 with experience.
• Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
